Hello, Eric with lush green here. Not currently near a pinyon pine tree but wanted to be. I’ll try to get myself there in the next couple of days. If you have pinyon pine trees something to be thinking about, especially if you didn’t winter water, if they are stressed at all. Sometimes it’s over watering or under watering. If there’s drought, the ips beetle is a real issue and you need to spray for those a couple of times a year, April and then late summer. So something to think about the CSU Extension has a fact sheet on that. You’re welcome to call them there’s some things home remedies to do. insecticides are an option as well but protect your pinyon pine trees.
